Kingsoft Office is not (as the Kingsoft website says), just another OpenOffice repackage. There are many office suites available today (such as NeoOffice for Mac and OxygenOffice Professional), but Kingsoft Office is not one of them.
And after opening it up for the first time, I believe it. On every computer I’ve ever used, OpenOffice, while very powerful and full of features, has been incredibly slow to start up. Not so with Kingsoft Office.
